Charlottesville Area Masters of Real Ale

You guys probably know already, but Aaron Reilly, the assistant brewer at Devils Backbone has broken his foot.

He needs surgery to fix the problem, and as such will be out of commission for a few months. In order to offset his medical bills, the guys at Devils Backbone are donating 25 cents for every pint of Reilly's Rye consumed down at the brewpub, and $1 for each growler fill.

If you are down at the Backbone over this weekend, please drink plenty of Aaron's beer (it's really good), and for the brewery tour and visit, do likewise and raise a bit of cash for Aaron (unfortunately I won't be on the trip as I am going to Fredericksburg to bottle a beer I brewed a few weeks back - it turned out to be the only date all the participants could get together until after the summer!)

I heard that it is possible that he may not actually need surgery, which will shorten his recovery time.
