Fermentation Trap an official home brew site on May 7th
« on: March 19, 2011, 12:24:42 PM »

Fermentation Trap will be holding a Big Brew Day here at the store on May 7th rain or shine. I'm looking to see if there are any members interested in brewing here in the store parking lot that day. I will be having samples of beer and mead that I have made.

Also feel free to bring your own beer for us to sample as well as other members that may be brewing. I have water available for your wort chillers and plenty of supplies if you forget something. You can let me know ahead of time if you require certain ingredients, yeast, or equipment.

This will be a good time to socialize with other members in the club while relaxing, sampling, and brewing beer. If you can't make it out here to brew try to stop by for some samples and conversation. I hope to see you then. CHEERS!!!

You can call me @434-985-2192 or email me @ kthacker@fermentationtrap.com

For you guys who will be brewing at Fermentation Trap next Saturday.
I've loaded up on the grains for the three Big Brew Day recipes.
I also have the White Lab yeast strains for the beers. They are
available now so that you can make your starter early.
WLP023- Burton ale  WLP400- Belgian Wit  WLP001- California Ale
I received the hops in this week for all of the beers also, so we
should be able to brew them pretty close to the recipe. As with all
brew days we tend to tweak recipes. I have plenty of other supplies
avilable. I'm looking forward to this event. Hoping to have a big turnout
and get other people involved in our hobby. If you are not able to brew,
stop in for samples and beer conversation.
Hope you can make it. Cheers!!!  Kenny
