VERY tempting. And they aren't huge barrels, so a single person or just a couple of people could make use of one. Their price for shipping is very cheap too.  I added one to my cart, expecting to see $50 for shipping and it was only $14.52.  They say to contact them about bulk orders.  I wonder what kind of discount they might offer.  I'll e-mail them to find out.

I'd be interested... possibly. If we do a group-brew, it would depend on style. I'm not likely going to chip in if it's a Belgian sour.  Tongue

So... I e-mailed the company and here's the info I got:
Shipping for a 15 gallon barrel is actually ~$25. Their online shipping calculator screwed up and gave me a bad quote, which they apologized for and are looking into to fix. If we purchase 5 or more barrels, we'll get a 10% discount.
I don't know what shipping is for the smaller sizes (9g and 3g). The guy I talked to asked for me to let him know exactly what we were interested in and he'd give me a more accurate quote. @Careforapint From what I gather, these aren't soured/contaminated and would best be used for oaked/whiskey beers and maybe several batches down the road for sours.
