Do you know what happens when you wash a 6 gal better bottle with 160F water?

You get a 5 1/2 gal better bottle!

This BB is structurally sound - I've been using it for a couple of years since I warped it, but it is an odd size and I'd like to replace it with another 6 gal

5 1/2 gallon is actually a fairly useful size as you can use it as a primary and then fill a 5 gallon secondary to the top on the rack. A couple of seasons ago, I even wrote BB to see if they would consider making a 5 1/2 gallon size. But having just one in this size is not very useful to me.

Yeah, it aint the prettiest thing, but for the price of a new BB, you could have a slightly deformed one filled with cider
