Starr Hill Maibock

I had the opportunity to taste the Starr Hill Maibock over the weekend - while filling my growler with Northern Lights IPA. I was pleasantly surprised.
It has a golden hue and nice creamy head to it. It starts a bit dry, then gives you a warm taste on your tongue (hint about the ABV), and then finally a dry - almost Belgian - finish. It was pleasant and I could see drinking a whole pint without problem.

Where did you get the growler filled? How much was it, if you don't mind me asking?

The brewery will refill the growler on Saturday's for $8. The Maibock and Barleywine will be $10.
I filled it with Northern Lights Saturday. Since I live less than 1 mile away, it's a deal for me when I don't have homebrew.

I'm interested to try their Maibock. I'm glad they are increasingly playing with more styles.
