Wine barrel for sale

Look what I found:

Not a bad price considering it's a French oak wine barrel (as opposed to American oak or a whiskey barrel).  Too bad I don't brew enough gallons to make this worthwhile for myself, otherwise I'd buy it. But I thought someone else on here that does large batches might find it of interest.

Neat, but I definately don't make enough of one beer to fill a barrel.  That, and I would have no room to put it anywhere.

Has anyone had experience using barrels for beer before?
