10th Level Beer Nerd . . .

Last week's Brewing Network Sunday Session had a great interview with the Brewmaster of Captain Lawrence Brewing Company. Part way through, they unveiled a new ad for Northern Brewer that had me laughing out loud in the car. It was called "10th Level Beer Nerd" and featured a bunch of nerdy voices playing a brewer's version of D&D. It was histerical. I did a quick google search for the sound byte, but I could not find it. If someone does find it, please post it here, so others can enjoy. Too funny . . .

I tune into the podcast every week, as they are so entertaining. It is a great way to pass the drive to work, get some laughs in, and learn something about brewing too.

Funny you should mention Captain Lawrence--I poured for them this past August at the Ommegang Belgian Festival. Nice guy. His beers were real popular including a sour ale aged in pinot noir barrels. His soused kid brother was in-tow and looked like he'd been suckling from the kegs continuously for the past week or so.
