Leaky CO2
« on: August 22, 2008, 05:20:42 PM »

Anyone have advice to tracking down a leaky CO2 gas line.  I have a manifold that comes off my regulator that then goes to three separate cornie kegs.  I replaced the tank yesterday and before I went to bed, noticed that the tank pressure was down to 50% of its starting.  So, I turned the valve off, but want to know how I can find the leak in the manifold or the line, as I could not hear any hissing gas.  Help . . .

Thanks.

Soapy water is how the pros do it.  Some dish soap in a bit of water and get it where the most likely leaks occur first.  Look for bubbles.
