For those of you familiar with the only Oktoberfest destination in Charlottesville.... I just heard yesterday from one of the waitresses that the owner of Ludwigs will be selling the business. Apparently part of the deal is that the new owner won't be allowed to make the restaurant German. They still have a couple of months, so get your liters while you can!

Thanks for posting, Wahoo. I have a couple of co-workers who love that place. I just sent them the information you posted. I am sure they will be sad and have several "farewell" gatherings there before it closes.

Man, that is depressing. I won two krugs from them!
And their Hungarian goulash and homemade spatzle is delicious.
