The Freshops website has their variety price list up and running. I'd like to order relatively soon. Any care to join in?

Thanks for the offer, Greg. I think I am going to wait it out and see if mine come back up this year. If they don't, well then protect your plants around harvest time, because a certain someone may come by and "borrow" some hop flowers.

Hopefully I'll have a bumper crop and CAMRA can have a DIY day to make one of those pre-pint Randall filters that Dogfish head uses. Have you seen that thing? Its pretty cool--basically an filter housing stuffed with whole leaf hops and the brew gets pulled through on the way to the glass.

The hop-bong rocks. I had their 120 minute IPA drawn through that thing at a beer tasting at the University of Pennsylvania (the tasting was led by the late Michael Jackson,
). That would be a fun little gadget to make.

Wow! Sounds like a good event. If my upcoming hop harvest goes well I'm definitely going to make one. I'm a bit of Michael Jackson fan--the gloveless Brit of course. He really was instrumental in exposing the US to real beer. I got a chance to try the Randall at the Dogfish Ale House in Rehobeth. It seemed to lend a real vibrant character to the hop aroma. I did have a few before trying it so at least I though it did!

My wife took me to the Dogfish Ale House for my birthday and it was really great. Unfortunately, they did not have the randall out that day. I guess this means I need to go back, huh?

I ordered a couple rhizomes before you placed your order but now that I've been thinking about it I'd really like a Nugget or Chinook as well. If anyone places an order let me know.
